The purpose of this certificate is to serve churches in their mission to make disciples. Small group leaders and volunteers will grow in their knowledge of the Bible, theology, and biblical interpretation by completing four foundational courses.

Training for Small Group Leaders:

Biblical Foundations

Each course is taught by SEBTS faculty and consists of twelve, 20-minute lectures that can be viewed independently or in a group.

Teaching for Transformation

Learn how to love God's Word and teach it effectively.

Old Testament Overview

Grow in your love for the Old Testament by studying how God reveals both himself and his plan to save his people.

New Testament Overview

Grow in your understanding of the New Testament and how it fits into the grand narrative of Scripture.

Christian Doctrine

Develop a deeper appreciation for the Christian doctrines that shape how we function in the body of Christ.
