Are you a Bible study teacher or small group leader who wants to grow in theological knowledge? Are you a pastor in need of specialized training? Do you want to grow in your personal understanding of the scriptures and your faith? If so, these programs are for you!
Our courses are primarily one-on-one video lectures. Each course features an instructor speaking directly to the camera; you are not merely observing a pre-recorded class lecture. Course materials are provided via digital download and are yours to keep.
The GO Certificates courses contain lectures and simple quizzes to keep you engaged during the learning process. You can watch the lectures and take the quizzes as many times as you need, but you are required to pass the quizzes to proceed through the course.
Our Trainings consist of watching the required lectures and completing a confirmation quiz at the end of the course.
Although it is not required, each course suggests one or more textbooks to get the most out of the course. A reading plan is provided.
Our GO Certificates courses take about 6 weeks to complete. They have 25 - 30 lessons per course, with quizzes after each lesson. Each lecture is about 20 minutes.
Trainings are shorter, at an estimated 3 weeks per course. They have 12 lessons per course, with each lecture being about 20 minutes.
Both are self-paced, so you can start when you're ready, and go faster or slower than the estimated time as feels right for you.
Our system is designed to work with any major desktop, tablet, or mobile phone. All you need is a web browser and an internet connection. Because our training is video-based, we recommend a stable WiFi connection.
Yes! We have many churches that offer our GO Certificate courses to their members through Cohorts. If you are interested in offering a Cohort, check out our Cohorts page!
The GO Certificate program is not for academic credit, and therefore, cannot be transfer to any of our other degree programs. However, if you're interested in graduate level credit, you may be interested in our Graduate Certificates.
