SUMMARY
A systematic study of biblical ethics taken as a theoretical and practical discipline. Attention is given to biblical and theological foundations as well as to current issues relevant to the witness of the Church in society.
OBJECTIVES
- A student who completes this course should gain an understanding of the
foundations of biblical ethics, including, but not limited to, a grasp of God’s
moral law as revealed in Scripture.
- A student who completes this course should be able to differentiate ethical
systems and analyze, construct, and defend a biblical position on the ethical
issues encountered in life.
- A student who completes this course should be able to evaluate non-Christian
views in contemporary culture and be equipped to engage individuals utilizing an
informed, biblical perspective.
